And that poor design is on purpose. They often push responsibility on the workers. Who have no agency to bring about actual change. While insulating owners/executives from lawsuits.
Good. Hopefully people start realizing these programs do nothing. And that corporations only started them to help reduce lawsuits.
They were never started so workers could create real change from within. Curtailing them might help people finally see what they needed all along was collective bargaining.

The D.C. Guard was created before there was a local government. There had never been an issue like this for it’s 120 years of reporting to the President directly. The Pentagon already reviewed and changed the rules back in 2021.
But on Jan 6th, after realizing a Trump crony had deceived them, Pentagon leadership started going further down the chain to get authorization to act.

That’s not true though. This happened in their EVs regardless of price range. Even the Porsche Taycan which requires using a screen to adjust HVAC vents. Other than some steering wheel buttons the Taycan is all screens.
The Audi E-Tron GT (same chassis as the Taycan) oddly enough has more buttons. But that’s because VAG makes sure Porsche and Audi interiors are slightly different for different market segments.
It’s more about VAG thinking (like many automakers) copying the Tesla trend was what people wanted. The mistake made was not considering Tesla early adopters often being techy people who might not match broader market opinion.
VW really actually does care a lot. It’s just early market data on EVs (because Tesla cheaped out) pointed to people liking the screens. Now that ordinary people are going EV there is a lot more feedback available on this being a bad idea.

So I agree with your point on obese range. The common criticism comes from there being many more people like me who hit the overweight range. But I don’t know anyone in my fitness pals group who cares after laughing it off the first time.
I’ve technically gone down from XL. Seems L often fit me better now. But I’ve not changed.
Seems like sizes have shifted higher. Only evidence I have for this are souvenir t-shirts from 20 years ago that say XL. Which are roughly same size as L shirts I’ve bought recently.
