Beehaw seems completetly dead to me, there’s only ever a handful of comments on posts.

“Uncritical support for brave socialist comrades giving their lives in defeating Nazis and NATO” or something on those lines

If it’s work related I’d imagine time would play a big part of it. They’re not going to walk up to 5 miles to the client and then 5 miles back. And it’s not a good option if they have to take along something big and bulky or if the weather is crap.

Surely buses make way more sense for local trips.

The problem starts when your comments silently get removed and you end up getting banned under vague “rule 1” because a mod disagrees with your view. The narrative of communities are defined by the mods even though the community is just a generic one.

This is the great thing about federation though right? You can just sign up to another instance and see their content. Personally I think it’s nice that there’s a large instance that’s free of them, sometimes it’s exhausting going through their annoying comments.

Yeah Chris Evans was the worst. LeBlanc was ok but I didn’t get the hype that he had by others.

Driving can be “fun” in any car though. You don’t need a sports car to enjoy driving, for some driving is just a fun activity that can still be done safely and within the regulations of the road.

The latest trio were pretty decent, probably the best since the Clarkson, Hammond & May era.

I thought I’d miss not having a headphone jack but I don’t. I don’t miss getting the wires caught on things and yanking out of my ears.

People will always be very vocal about things like this but I’d bet the vast majority of people don’t care. It’s a bit like smaller phones, I’m firmly in the “I need a smaller phone” camp but it seems like the market doesn’t want one and most people prefer the big phones we have today.
