It’s not censorship. It’s just what happens to any platform run by a publicly traded company whose customers are the advertisers and whose users are the product.

It played a significant role in inciting the Rwandan genocide that took place from April to July 1994, and has been described by some scholars as having been a de facto arm of the Hutu regime in Rwanda.[1]

So I don’t know what’s planned but I would be surprised if it’s nothing. Then in November the midterm elections, which really are the test of whether their whole Project 2025 revolution succeeds or fails. If the system continues to work as usual, Republicans lose control of congress. If not, everyone realizes we’ve already had our last free and fair election and the fix is in for 2028 too. So that’s going to be an interesting four months.
I don’t foresee any elections getting cancelled. Russia has ‘elections’. North Korea has ‘elections…’ What I do see happening is “Antifa” getting officially designated as a terrorist organization, and using AI to mass analyze who is probably an "antifa member " and enough of them being detained around the election in all the right counties to ensure that Democrats can’t win.

They’re talking about a machine built with secret reptilian technology where you put the dead person in one cylinder and it scans them and then prints out a replica that is alive but without a soul, so then you turn it into a cyborg with a brain chip (more alien technology) and then it can be remote controlled and progammed what to say.
It is not so much a “conspiracy theory” as a “psychotic delusion”. And all the ‘Q’ people believe it. They are all severely mentally ill.
blargle@sh.itjust.worksto politics @lemmy.world•Poll: Democratic voters prefer "populism" over "abundance"English372·16 days agoWhy make up terms that no one knows what you’re talking about until you explain them? What they’re calling the “abundance agenda” is just the right-wing conservative agenda. "Regulations are the problem." It is also bundled with the big lie that has already doomed our civilization and a significant percent of the Earth’s biodiversity along with it: that infinite growth is possible on a finite planet. And it probably appeals to those fart-sniffing dipshits who can say the phrase “post-scarcity-society” with a straight face.
What they call the “populist agenda” is that corporate greed, regulatory capture, and concentration of wealth are the real problem. Which is the leftist take, and is also objectively true and pretty obvious to anyone paying attention. It also has nothing to do with what the word ‘populist’ is typically used to describe.
If you [ meaning the Democratic Party leadership ] can’t immediately see that aligning with the latter is the only reasonable path forward, for the one supposed opposition party in a two-party system against the Basically Literally Hitler party, without first polling voter sentiment to determine which side of your mouth to talk out of today, then how about you go commission another focus group on how best to fuck yourselves.

I’m not saying that’s what we should do, but I’m saying that’s what it would take to actually fix things.
Of course we’re not going to do it… because we have too much empathy for them. So they win. Again. As always, and until the bitter end of humanity.

Is it conceivable that someday a people’s revolution would turn out otherwise? Sure. But I don’t see the American people as being the ones to pull it off.
Just wait until all the venture capital OpenAi raised on a valuation that assumes they will singlehandedly achieve the singularity in 2027, replace all human workers by 2028, and convert 75% of the Earth’s crust to paperclips by 2030 runs out, they can’t operate at a loss anymore, and have to raises prices to a point where they’re actually making a profit.
