Elmo’s little satellite Internet project will never hold a candle to the international fiber backbone networks, especially tier 1 networks.
For starters, it doesn’t smell very good
Probably the exception to the rule. I did as well, and constantly find myself at a loss for how it simply doesn’t occur to most people to stop and think about something for a split second as opposed to just impulsively doing whatever.
What’s ridiculous is they made remote start only available from the app instead of a keyfob
Got PakOS, but since I’m not Pakistani I’m not sure how useful it would be
Same here in California
“I’ll bet there’s oil under it”
After the 3rd he couldn’t stance, he was flat on his feet.
“X’s owner now has the ear of the president-elect, a man who has a long history of helping his friends, and punishing his enemies,” said Max Willens, senior analyst, at Emarketer. “Sending at least a trickle of ad spending toward X may be seen as good for business, albeit in an indirect way.”
There’s the article in a nutshell. Give Elmo money or face the wrath of the Diaper-in-Chief.
I’m plenty fine with all ads consolidated to a dedicated monitor, that would certainly never face the wall on minimal brightness
We need to nationalize broadband already, or at the very least loft the restrictions placed on localities that forbid a public network option. Several municipal networks around the country (ie Chattanooga) have proven that a public option works exceedingly well, and it’s a shocking discovery what happens to the private companies that actually have to compete: their service improves while their prices drop. The restrictions imposed on municipalities is a blatant example of local, state, and federal corruption.
Methew and Methany just mething around
The only way a legislated raising of wages works is by initiating price controls, otherwise corps can and will raise prices to protect profits
I have to imagine that on routers where the ISP offers a parallel portal through your gear, they isolate the other user’s traffic from your home network and will trace any illegal activity back to that particular subscriber.
Granted, this is probably a good reason to ditch your ISPs hardware and use your own where you can. Even AT&Ts gear can be set up in bridge mode to where it acts as simply a modem for your own hardware. Like hell if I want random people posted up outside my house to use the internet.
Now whether or not any of that has been effective I couldn’t tell you, especially considering those communities aren’t historically fond of democratic administrations.
Those of us that remember the olden days of dialup made do with worse
That’s sounds wonderful, let’s go with that option
