I think you misunderstood me, I meant that most games will handle the bullet simulation on the server, but you no longer have to pre aim because of lag compensation.

This is still the case for most games. Games have just gotten better lag compensation methods.
I have to say this is the first time I have seen anyone recommend f# for game dev, let alone godot.
We haven’t had AR15s for 200 years. The real answer though is more likely cultural, because there are plenty of countries with permissive gun laws who have much lower rates of gun homicide than the US.
The main advantage of typing for me is static linting.
How do you mean? I eat soy products and I’ve never had anyone mention race as a reason for avoiding soy products.
That sounds pretty neat thank you. At some point lua had an official typed extension that is no longer maintained unfortunately. Hopefully there’s a stable fork one day.
I think python is good as it is for what it can do, mostly because I have no reason to use it.
What we need is lua with types!
Python is fine as a language I guess
But python programmers give it a bad name. I’ve never seen “well written” python code, it’s always shit that’s been thrown together cos it works.
This is a myth, no idea where it came from, but dogs will sniff you if they want to come sniff you. Body language is important and it’s important to give the dog agency in the greeting. Putting your hand out towards a dog is not good advice for most people as most people don’t understand body language, can be threatening to the dog, and it’ll probably get someone bit by a nervous dog.
In general, just ask the owner for permission and information, or keep a comfortable distance and leave the dog be. Dogs are still animals, even if they’re usually friendly.
Brought in a feature from a fork of our engine at work the other day. 8000 additions and a bunch of deletions and fix commits.
And apparently that’s a pretty small merge…
Took me days just to review it.
Just check the damn log man
I love vs code but that does not mean electron doesn’t suck
