That’s literally uncomparable. Government does things that ignore profit. That’s what government is for. The provide services at a loss. The only “profit” might be things like societal improvement, education, security, and such.

Nowadays? Was it not divided when some were forced to drink from different fountains? Was it not divided with literal slavery? Civil War? Only wealthy landowners making all decisions? Only the clergy had ability to read?

I see kids doing that in my neighborhood all the time. There’s some that go with poles down to fish in a nearby creek. It all depends on where you live.

Over the last 20 years, through numerous computers, I have never had a WD that didn’t fail. Usually the ones that came with a computer. I also have helped numerous family and friends with their issues, often failing WD drives in cheap pre-built computers.
I have never had a Seagate fail me, ever. I used to get SanDisk a lot too and their stuff always worked great. Not so much anymore. More recently it seems Samsung is the way to go. Just my experiences.
