Dopamine 3 is the closest to AIMP as far I know. I also use it on Windows.

I’ve been using Tauon for years now and I still love it.

Install a windows first just to launch the Dell Command Update app (you’ll have to download it from the Dell website) and use it to update the BIOS and Intel firmwares.

These laptops even run badly on win10 until you update everything.

Then install your chosen distro. I bet there will be fewer problems then.

I’m on Lemmy.ml and Eternity has been unusable for months : you can read but not interact : up/down vote, reply, subscribe, etc.

I’m posting this with Voyager. So lemmy.ml works. The issue seems to be with Eternity.

I work with elderly people, they’re the real beginners and I’ll never install a Manjaro on their machines.
