I guess there’s a nice idea behind the process. But tbh, I don’t even remember what instance I joined. I tried joining a tech instance but my application was rejected … I’m really not that interested in applying like it’s a job or something. (Though I understand lots of IRL groups have application processes)

Slightly off topic, but one major benefit for me with Chromecast and keeping the TV offline is software bloat.
Our old Samsung TV running tizan had so many shitty updates that slowed the UI down to what felt like over a second delay when using the remote.
I believe this is different. We also have an Inheritance Tax which is a tax on a person’s estate when they die.
However this is the Royal Estate taking all of the inheritance for people who don’t have a will or any known relatives. Usually in this scenario it would instead go to the govt., thus, eventually, benefiting everyone and not just the Royal family.
