It’s frustrating, considering that ableton’s push runs on Linux, but I never had a satisfactory, or comparable experience running it on a Linux desktop. To be honest, this was the dealbreaker that kept me using a Mac.
What do you think could be negative about it?
Many of the people who go into the military actually believe they are going to do good things for the world but are ignorant of how much evil they will be asked to do most of the time
This level of ignorance is not only dangerous, it’s close to inexcusable in the 21st century.
why’s that?
And your post has nothing to do with this community.
Hate the game, not the player. Or both, your choice.
"you would basically kill the AI industry in this country overnight.” Cutting through to the heart of the issue here, economic FOMO. “If we don’t steal this data, someone else will”.
Nokia N950 was the best
and the dumb kids, unfortunately. I did a spot with some non-US teenagers, in a class recently. The topic was “name a person you admire and why”. Guess whose filthy name came up…
Yes, you do. It’s not cheap, either.
Thanks for contributing information about your underrepresented country
commanding a legitimate place in the band
I know you’ve basically spelled it out by using MPH and by simply being on the internet, but you might want to make it clear which country you’re in. I mean, where I’m living, it’s 100% ok for you to be in a bike line. Legally and socially speaking. But I doubt we’re in the same place right now!
I know its got its fair share of problems, but I always had a much better experience selling basically anything on ebay than FB marketplace or gumtree. There’s just something about these free classified ads that seems to attract people that take the piss.
Now that I’m out of the UK, I miss even having those, though. In some European countries the idea of buying/selling uesd things just doesnt seem to have caught on at all.
Paying a higher amount in rent than a mortgage would be is not making living affordable. They’re exploiting the fact that many people can’t access credit or afford to make a required down payment/stamp duty/legal fees, etc. up front.
Going down fractionally, after having grown an incredible amount in the last 3 years. Please don’t swallow this obvious bullshit. Prices are high, prohibitively high, and are going to stay that way until everyone bar a few is forced to rent.
You could just buy a house.
Can you just step back from the keyboard and realize how stupid what you’ve just said is?
I’m by no means an expert on this, but I have used both Bazzite and Fedora workstation as my exclusive operating systems.
What I would say is that they’re both perfectly adequate for the tasks you described.
Personally, I’d say unless you prefer things handed to you, choose Fedora. I don’t have a problem with flatpacks, but I missed being able to easily use dnf. At the end of the day, though, there are ways around everything; you can still get what you need done on Bazzite.
In terms of kernel tweaks, etc. I barely noticed any difference in performance between the 2. Keep in mind that this was a relatively modern pc so performance wasn’t really an issue that I was looking out for.
Overall though, you’ll be fine whatever you choose. I also had to use MS office for work and it’s pretty much the one thing you can’t get working on Linux. You’ll have to explore your options for that, I ended moving back to a Mac because of Ableton live :(
