RIP Apollo, one of the best pieces of software i’ve ever used that was made by one guy. So many features, dev listened to users, always quick to fix bugs, incredible pricing.

Trump’s four years in office are almost exactly what I imagined would happen, which is why I was telling everyone I knew what would happen and to not vote for him.

Now i am imagining another four-year indefinite term, and it’s the end of everything good. That’s not hyperbole.

I, like you, am doubtful he’ll go to prison, which should be very telling about the state of the US right now. The right wants to start a civil war over Trump and social issues; the left /needs/ a violent revolution they don’t seem to have the stomach for.

I have an Xperia 1 iii running LineageOS 20 w/microG, and it took days of careful setup to get everything working and have it pass SafetyNet. I’m worried that any update might break a feature that I consider essential and rely on. I love the phone but I fear it’ll break if I even so much as sneeze while holding it.

You have options if you have a Google-branded phone. If you have something like a 2021 Sony Xperia, your options /might/ include LineageOS, else you’re stuck with buggy unofficial builds. Ask me how I know.

You only get options in Android land if the phone is/was popular.
