This looks pretty cool, I will give it a try. I am using Streamlit at the moment and I am quite content with it.

Part of the problem in Germany is also the language barrier. A lot of employers are simply refusing to hire someone who doesn’t know German and their inflexibility. But if they want to continue striving, they sure as hell need to adapt to the new reality and make things more appealing to young professionals.
The truth is that salaries in the sector for those roles are on the lower end and a lot of people prefer to find better paid jobs.
This is what happens when you act with absolute impunity and ignore international law.
This creates a very serious precedent in history, when other parties can think that they can act the same way. International law exists for a reason!
What is more worrying is what Trump thinks of the EU. This guy is a threat to democracy and international law.
And the worst is that much of the democratic party is shifting more to the right in their pursuit of voters.
This world is completely screwed with politicians like Trump in power.
I am talking about the poisoning of Scripal for example, but there were also other notable killings. And the international outcry after that was enormous and now is more like shrugging off shoulders, I don’t see anyone really objecting to the impunity Israel is having in those cases. And that’s what I call double standards.
Can someone ELI5 how come when Israel is killing people abroad it is all OK but when Russia is doing the same everyone is outraged?
I mean what happened with international law, the right of every human being of getting a fair trial, and you know other pretty basic human rights?
Sorry, but last time I checked Israel is killing those civilians in throves. And don’t get me wrong I don’t sympathize with Hamas, but saying that the civilian Palestinian casualties are their fault is very much twisting the truth.
Are you also going to blame the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding there also Hamas fault? Are Hamas bombing civilian buildings in densely populated areas with oversized bombs?
Perhaps we should blame Hamas for the global warming too with your logic.
You can check Obsidian with Syncthing or Anytype.
I think Anytype would or did already release their source code, while obsidian isn’t open source but it creates Markdown files which is very nice.
Can we move this to some community wiki? I think a lot of people can benefit from it and we can expand it with our own recommendations. Something like awesome-cli
Thanks for sharing it, really helpful post
All the people predicting doom and gloom for open source, but the reality is that without open source we wouldn’t be in the position where we currently are in terms of technology.
To be honest, I also think the patent system should be revamped as it is extremely flawed at the moment and prone to abuse by patent trolls, and it is stifling innovation.
Hetzner is perhaps the cheapest option.
Can’t you also name this brand. The majority of the people here know it anyway.
Funnily enough the TSLA stock is 800 billion and the BYD stock is 75 billion.
There are plenty of solutions out there like Tailscale, Cloudflared tunnel, Nebula, ZeroTier, etc. Yes, ISPs still prefer IPv4 and impose CGNAT, but it is mostly because IPv6 isn’t as ubiquitous as IPv4 and the world long went out of public IPv4 addresses.
Plus where I live I can do with my IPv6 whatever I please.
Just use awk and when needed ask ChatGPT for the syntax of the command
You got reported. I hope they block you from this community for good.
I wouldn’t say so, they also seem to have abandoned the gaming segment and nowadays are playing more or less ball with NVIDIA while trying to improve their AI stack so that they can get a higher chunk of the data centre business.
Especially now when gaming GPUs are an afterthought for them.

Can’t you just use Obsidian and edit the MD files directly in your terminal? I know Obsidian isn’t open source, but as long as the files are MD and I can easily take them with me, I don’t really care.
