If you think that doesn’t already exist, you’ve been living under a rock. The Dead Internet Theory is pretty old at this point. I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m saying that some of us have seen this trend coming long before AI was a buzzword and have been watching it already happen around us. I very much know what is coming because I’ve already watched it happen.
Which requires you to implement the watermark saying you’re an AI. Just… Don’t. If a regular person can make a watermark saying they are a real person, what’s to stop an AI from doing the same? What can the human do that the AI can’t? Unless you go down the draconian “everyone has a real ID linked to their digtal personna” route. And what’s to stop an AI from creating the text, a human from copying it and posting it as their own? Click farms already exist.
Except, no, you can’t. The whole “you eat seven spiders at night a year” was a rumor created specifically to show how easy is to start rumors. And how many times has that little gem been floating around the internet? Or how about how often you hear experts say that people talking about their given field on the Internet are flat out wrong, but they sound charismatic, so they get the upvote?
The Internet is full of DATA. It’s always been up to you to parse that info and decide what’s credible and what’s not. The difference now is that the critical thinking required to even access the Internet is basically nil and now everyone is on there.
Let me do some digging and try to find you some sources when I’m not stuck at work. I know there are Wikipedia articles for the literal rooms inside of telecoms that are known to be government taps into telecom and internet infrastructure. I just can’t remember the room names off the top of my head. I’ll come back with a few different sources to hopefully get you going down the right rabbit hole.
I was under the impression it was was common knowledge/rumor that Cisco hardware all has a US installed backdoor. Huawai having a backdoor specifically wasn’t the big revelation/concern. It was that it was Chinese/foreign government controlled. Everyone puts backdoors in, it’s just a matter of only having friendly backdoors you can control.
Awards encourage farming for them. It’s human nature. And you attached actual money to them(the donations). So it has real value.

Nope. No highlighting karma, and especially not karma actually worth something. That just asks for people who only care to game the system to start flooding the network. Your noise to signal ratio will plummet. And how will you handle it per instance? What’s to stop someone from spinning up an instance of bots and auto voting on all of their stuff?

The reason why is because historically, alcohol drinks are taxed based on the concentration, or percentage, of alcohol. Beer would be taxed at a lower rate than say whisky. It was all based on the percentage, or “proof”, of the beverage, not the actual amount. That way a small and large jug of whisky would be taxed at the same rate.
Amazon is using trucks to ship hard drives for the largest data transfers. It’s more efficient than doing it over internet. They also offer a service where they will put the data you want in a drive, mail it to you, and after you’re done, you send the drive back.
In regards to it only being between those two poles, I’d wager it simply comes down to tension. The other cables are tensioned correctly and this section is either too loose or intentionally loose as some sort of expansion/contraction relief.

Probably some combination of electromagnetic effects in that specific section. Happens to oscillate just right. Though these weights can be used for wind issues, I’m seeing a lot of references to dampening other kinds of vibrations. Might help you find a better answer.
Don’t worry about them. They have no reading comprehension. Your argument is we shouldn’t segregate when we teach black history, it should just be a part of all people’s history that we teach all of the time. You’re not advocating for less black history, if anything your advocating for more. They just want to get offended.
All I want to say is that if you think it was Black History Month that taught people about Chuck Berry, you’re for one thing clearly born after Back To The Future came out. Dude was a legend. The other dude has a point: you don’t have to ONLY learn about black achievements during BHM. It should be all the time. But instead y’all jumped on the guy assuming he meant we shouldn’t teach black history AT ALL.
I’ve heard there are specific data sets you can download that have the training data, but not the images themselves. Someone else already ran the images through a training model and you’re just grabbing the processed data and plugging it into your model. I’m sure I’m missing some nuance and haven’t looked into it myself, but I’ve seen that given as the answer when someone asked before.
Just because you don’t understand statistics and metadata analysis doesn’t make it fake. And of course, since it’s real, you can surely point to all the apps whose network traffic was monitored and all the voice data constantly being transmitted that was captured. Because surely in an era where many people pay for data, it’d be impossible to miss the constant audio stream coming from every one of these devices eating up your bandwidth cap.
But nah, “I feel this is true” is all we need. Even when the person who says it, and said it to advertise their product, admits they lied for sales.
Are they tracking you? You bet. If you think they’re so unsophisticated that they need to literally listen to your every word instead of the millions of other data points you FREELY give away already, you just don’t understand the tech and are fear mongering.
Which for awhile, this user(L4s) insisted on not labeling his bot as such because he felt his was special and deserved to be seen above others. Only after being massively called out did they fix it. But it left a bad taste in my mouth and I’ve had them blocked since, including their personal account. While the setting is useful, some users still need to be called out.
