I’m not saying everything you’re saying here is correct but, this is exactly how a lot of people I know feel. What the replies to your comments aren’t understanding is that emotions are often stronger than facts. The average American has no idea how things work but they do know how they feel about them not working. That’s the reason they all have no problem handing over all their data.

To your point about how all the spez lovers stayed there, I just had a disagreement with someone here. We brought up our points like adults and I agreed I missed something in the original post and that they are right. I rarely if ever got to see that on Reddit in the last few years.

My job requires a lot of pulling up maps. I’m sad to say I haven’t found a good Google replacement. Do I like all the ones listed? Yes. Can they get the job done the way I need it? No.

Hamburger menu>settings>your user settings> default sort (if you’re using the play store version you might not have this)

There was an issue, not sure if it’s fixed where you needed to also do it on the website and make them match.
