Tough, China already called it.
It’s such an awful site, and always surprises me when I see it being used/shared. Surely when it comes to tech there are better resources than a tabloid for it.
This is amazing, I’ve found some real nostalgia among the type of sites here. Thank you!
This generation was the one where I intended on buying my first Xbox as well. I wasn’t going to get it at launch but I was interested enough to be willing to put the money down. However seeing how MS have progressed so far, the increasing push to cloud gaming, game rental and more has been increasingly off putting. It’s a shame as well because around launch I was excited by how beautifully engineered the Series X is.
Dude must be living on croutons.

I’m trying to run a community here, so it might not be a surprise and may actually be cause and effect, but Lemmy.world is somewhere that’s taken hold of one of my social media habits too. It’s one of first places I check in on and spend a considerable amount of time using.
What a shame /s
I was recently looking for a song on Spotify that I remembered enjoying, what must’ve been 10 year ago. It had been removed from Spotify (greyed out in a playlist) but I sure as shit found it quickly on YouTube, uploaded by some random person.
There’s also PixelFed for the federated version of Instagram.
This works great now, thanks for the update!
At the moment I definitely don’t look at Local
or All
very often on the homepage because of this. There’s plenty of communities out there that definitely just want to discuss their niche, or are at least trying to make sure this is where the focus is. I’m sure people will eventually get to the point where they don’t want to share that content and it will pass, but no idea how long that will take.
Thank you for sharing the community, @Akhuyan@lemmy.world. I really appreciate it!
This is amazing, nice work! My only criticism at the moment is that on the search results page, the input becomes so squashed that it becomes pointless to use and I’ve gone back to the main screen to redo searches. Giving it its own row, and the search button and drop down their own. should fix that easily.
This. I’ve got a family, a mortgage, debt and everything else that goes with adulthood. My aching joints are the only thing that makes me feel like an adult.
