This feels strongly like a phishing attempt. Which is somewhat ironic
53·1 year agoTotally agree. That’s the same way I feel about Uber Drivers. I’ve used Waymo and it’s amazing, better than the average Uber driver I’ve had. It’s a bad job that doesn’t pay enough, and while I hope those drivers are able to move on to better things, it’s a job that should disappear. If we wanted to protect jobs we should have kept the union Taxi Drivers. The current system just grids up poor people for Uber’s profit

283·1 year agoWow, so 1Password is not recommended anymore? How come? I’ve been using them for years.
In your point about the genius talent being wasted on dumb projects, if someone makes an amazing algorithm, people will notice no matter what it was initially used for. I agree that access to academic works is much better than it was and I think with the spread of satellite internet we’re entering a golden age of discovery
