It’s funny because in reality for someone who is capable enough to use/want scoop, it’d come with or add a whole new layer of things where security and such could go wrong.
Does scoop.sh just magically make it appear? Does it use pigeon transport?
It all uses the internet, using a browser to download things that are only available using HTTP anyways is and has always been harmless and completely fine.
RED isn’t worth it compared to the other one since everything will trickle down to OPH anyways, RED has a very mean test and will hate you for searching anything at all.
For the record, Arch breaking at all is probably entirely on you.
They didn’t do any of those things and apt upgrade does not lag on any system I know of.
Raspberry pi’s are never worth it compared to most other things.
Lemmy IS awesome, that doesn’t mean we can’t want it to be better or criticize it. No one said Lemmy isn’t great.
The main Lemmy developers very often don’t have the biggest clue of what they’re doing, and they’ve proven that time and time again. A lot of times they forget normal web practices and rules, and a lot of side things like Jerboa are also just broken.
They also don’t know how to interact with the community or how to be normal people. Let’s not forget they have been working on Lemmy full-time and this is the state we’ve come to, ignoring all the database and security and everything else issues they already had.
Not everything needs to be about making money, just reminding you that that’s pretty vile.
This only just federated, but yes things like this do indeed have to be clarified or at least edited afterwards with a tag or something.
If you just go to any of the actual information pages about the blog, you’ll very quickly see it’s a genuine thing.
CPUs can have special hardware accelerators for stuff like this, and you’d be surprised how powerful our little phone CPUs are and how optimized stuff like this can become.
DuckDuckGo has recently become a not very useful search engine too, it still has way way better queries than Google though.
Going back usually shuffles the search results and after like 5 results there’s just a bunch of random entries based on your geolocation.
I don’t know why you tried to go for a personal jab, my reading comprehension is fine.
I’m obviously asking about what you’re inciting, especially since lemmy.world is a European instance.
what are you even talking about at this point
You could’ve done a simple search, or even write your comment in a way where you don’t state it as a fact but instead you’re now blatantly wrong.
I will never use the shift key, caps lock toggling superior.
