So that must be my the cover making my iPhone hard to reach, gotcha. Though I suppose I wouldn’t expect to use a cover as thick if I use the fold
I remember the last time this got brought up and I complained about my thumb not being able to reach the other side of the iphone 3 mini. Well, I tried the Samsung Z Fold the other day and I really like how narrow it is to the point where my thumb can effortly reach the other side when the phone is folded. Perhaps I’ll get that phone in the future when my current iPhone 13 mini dies. At the same time, I do enjoy my Apple Watch though and I appreciate the longetivity of the iPhone compared to other brands.
What if someone tries to impersonate someone with a high reputation such as a professional or a politician?
I’d say a sense of continuity and familiarity. It’d be weird if you’re suddenly told to eat a cube that can fulfill all of your nutritional needs when you’ve been eating foods of variable shapes for so long.
So this is one result of the writer’s strike. I’m all for it if it’s to support writers.
Privacy concerns aside, this is a pretty good solution for phones that are getting increasingly large.
Good point. I guess this aspect is much different from the AI Art scene, where the producers of the dataset are usually not compensated for their drawings.
I hope they can at least get compensated.
This is true. Even amongst humans, there’s a concept called “surrogate partners”, who work with sex therapists who help patients deal with barriers in intimate relationships.
This reminds me of the Samsung Phone incident… not as bad as that but it’s just something that popped up in my mind.
Apparently “utopian communities” are actually intentional communities following a utopian model and they don’t like to be referred to as “utopian communities” because it’s considered prejorative.
Here’s a list of utopian communities in the US, btw: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_utopian_communities
Now people will rely on social cred. Indie authors would have to rely on social media and blogging to come accross as attractive enough for their written works to be interesting. Same with any other indie-related fields, really.
I guess, but at the same time, I don’t think red necessarily means luck in India based on the sources that I’ve read.
pretty sure the 20s is for AI
This could be a good starting point. It seems that in China, red represents fire, and fire back then was like electricity today. As for India, I’ve found this article which says that red symbolizes the Hindu goddess Durga for her feminine power and new beginnings (which may or may not be because of menstrual or postpartum bleeding)
Does anyone else think that NFTs are an allegory/miniature version of how art is easily commodified by capitalism? IIRC, NFTs were there to help finance artists who work on a purely digital medium, but then grifters coopted the NFT space and try to sell sets of same-looking artwork. Complete with “fandoms” and drama, as well.
Speaking of unfinished books before the creator died, I’d really like to know how AI would try to finish Tintin and Alph-Art, the last book before Herge died
Going with what is happening in the SAG/AFTRA strike, perhaps the big names shouldn’t join the strike because they would come across as entitled, but they are more than welcome to donate towards the strike.
I get what anti-AI people are trying to say: job replacements and accelerating corporate interests are big concerns that should be addressed at a systemic level. But honestly, just give me a solution where, I as an autistic person can talk to someone about things that no one else wants to talk about, and can help me solve my problems, and is available (especially emotionally) 24/7. If you can’t do that, just let me be with my AI.
