Mine told me that I should be a plumber. I took it after graduating college with a degree in Data Science. I kind of wish I did the plumbing thing considering the money they rake in. Problem is that I don’t like crawling in attics and under houses.
I asked for that. In a manner-of-speaking, if you compared by the football field filled in area with barrels of waste. It would be about one for all the annual nuclear waste where turning the byproduct of combustible fossil fuels into just the vapor and ash equivalent would fill thousands. It arguably wouldn’t win from a toxicity perspective. For all the waste in the ocean from Fukushima, the only outcome were that the marine life seemed to have thrived off the low-level radiation.
I think that might be racist. Could be wrong, but maybe.
We have plenty of nuclear fuel and waste is a drop in an ocean compared to that of fossil fuels.
I use Memmy and have a porn account and a non-porn account. On the non-porn account, I block any porn communities that show up in the All feed and eventually I stop seeing them.
Cool. Memmy is the best, but what is the purpose of a native kbin integration if it’s already federated? Are we able to view and not post or comment?
To my understanding, a network switch will relay your MAC address, so it’s sounding like that is what your range extender is. You would need an actual wireless router. You could get a wireless mesh router pair, so you have both a new wifi and range extending. I’d then disable the wifi on your main router. It sounds like they make you use your ISP’s router, but it’s also worth trying to disconnect that and plugging your new router direct into the modem instead to see if you need the ISP router at all. Also, you’d need to whitelist the new device with the ISP.
I hope it succeeds though. It is exciting to be at the start of humanity becoming a spacefaring race. The idea that we might be able to see the Earth from space in our lifetime is amazing. I think people that venture into the unknown are inspiring. It’s great that we are pushing the boundaries of what humans can achieve. Sure, there are problems on Earth, but solving space problems makes it seem like figuring out our differences should be trivial given what we can achieve. Damn this is some good weed.
Marinara is the most basic of Italian sauces. It is the red sauce on pizza and the default for most pastas at standard Italian restaurants in the US. I’d be surprised if you couldn’t find it in Italy since it isn’t like how Americans take a food like tacos and completely alter the original recipe. Sure, they make all varieties of jarred marinara in the grocery store where some are much better quality than others, but the basis is pretty much tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, basil and something to add sweetness like letting a carrot stew in it, adding sugar, or a squeeze of ketchup per my shortcut. Most recipes call for whole canned San Marzano tomatoes that are crushed while you simmer the sauce. This allows for a nice chunky consistency. The olive oil is always supposed to be the best you can find, so extra virgin olive oil works since you aren’t really cooking it at sauté-level heat.
Just standard Heinz works fine. Only a squirt or two seems to round off the flavors, giving just a hint of sweetness. Heinz ketchup is intentionally well balanced through countless trials with consumers. The exact proportions are super proprietary. People shouldn’t use any other brand because no one has invested nearly as much in getting the formulation correct. I don’t understand what you mean by not knowing what Marinara sauce is.
Ketchup and MSG are the secret ingredients in my marinara sauce. I go as far as to use proper other ingredients likes San Marzano tomatoes, fresh basil, and garlic, but I am fairly certain that my special additions to the recipe improve it. I’ve been told never to utter this to an Italian mother.
Watchung Reservation by the Trailside and Science Center. Nice!
Was definitely a rockets kid. I always wanted to go to space camp. Still do and I’m almost 40.
How do you query the database?
In the lead developer’s GitHub, he sympathizes with Marxism including those that committed atrocities.. He apparently censors lemmy.ml with this in mind. Since it is open source though, I can trust that other instances might be better maintained. There is no way I’ll use any personal information in my signup because this all probably is going to China.
The devs hold extreme political views. They are on board with the Tiananmen Square massacre being necessary and shit like that. Like this post says though, there are plenty of instances that are totally run by normal people. Additionally, the Lemmy server code is open source, so that helps to ensure that it isn’t doing anything nefarious behind-the-scenes.
Not really. In order to find the wave function you need to measure both particles and compare both sets of superposition info to know that the particles were entangled. The information sharing between Alice and Bob would still have to be through standard means.
