Ah sorry, I thought you meant that it was a bug introduced in 6.0 that was fixed or something

Nope, still functional as of Plasma 6.2.3 :)
Gosh that’s a throwback. If it’s not alive maybe we should make it be again!!
It’s not a text editor in it’s own right, you can use it with nano. It’s simply a tool to help create and format journal entries. I’d assume you can set a directory they’re stored in, and then use the command from anywhere, but didn’t dig into the documentation just yet. It can also handle encrypting those entries if you choose.
I dunno, maybe just let people have nice things? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t really think it’s funny, at all.
…banning a service or application nationwide.
I’m absolutely against such a ban.
Good thing you’re not going to be affected by such a ban, seen as no European would have made the mistake of saying ‘nationwide’ in reference to the EU as a whole. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Rack server on a lack IKEA table.
Do you not understand that the entire thing is probably marketing, which you’ve fallen for? This likely isn’t new news.
If the user had Bitdefender installed, he wouldn’t be able to unzip the file because the security solution would identify the threat and move it to quarantine.
Whilst this may indeed be an attack that’s currently seeing a resurgence, the fact that it’s a marketing article doesn’t give me a lot of confidence in that.
Edit: I just noticed that your account is only 8 days old as well. I feel like that’s a further indicator that this is just spam.
What are you talking about, Windows 8 was a complete shitshow. It wasn’t until 8.1 that it became respectable.
Thanks for this, I’ve actually been seriously considering a microchip implant for a while, is it open source? I don’t want proprietary code inside me if I can help it.
I’ve had a magnet embedded in my pinky for about 7 years now. It’s wild fun having an extra sense, I’ve actually been planning its replacement as it’s gotten much weaker the last year or so. Neodymium magnets do eventually lose their charge, and heat causes it to happen faster.
Probably better to link the downloads page, rather than the direct download link: https://mullvad.net/en/download/vpn/linux
And if you read a few paragraphs more, there’s a Download and install the app
section too, rather than add their repos. Which is what the OP wanted anyway…
Edit: Here’s the link for the package download: https://mullvad.net/en/download/vpn/linux
Then don’t use it 👍
Why come into the Linux community just to start an argument? It’s not 2010 anymore, the brand faction internet tribalism is so bloody tiring these days.
Yeah, so don’t say Virtual Machine. Say “you can sideload linux on windows to test it”.
Over here in Aus we like to have a “as few maiming’s as possible” policy. You say laziness and complacency, I call it a national disregard for worker safety, an underfunded & toothless OSHA and union-busting, all caused by unchecked capitalistic greed.
But let’s get back to this particular incident. For a start, here’s an article from 2021 about a system to allow robotic arms (and others) to sense human presence and not cause injury to them. So what, Mr. Elon “Autopilot” Musk couldn’t have designed a similar system for his factory? Hah, no, he just doesn’t give a fuck. This article goes into it in more depth. The Fremont Tesla factory had an even higher 1 in 12 injury rate last year. Also, yeah nah, they failed to disclose dozens of injuries. And these two rates don’t account for them. Still don’t believe me? Here’s a paper comparing Tesla to the automotive industry average. It cites it’s source as the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
But you should absolutely congratulate your colleagues. Assuming there’s more than 41 of them, you did better than Tesla! 👏

Other people have already responded, but I wanted to add my two cents because I use mine as a disability support. It was paid for out of my National Disability Insurance Scheme plan here in Australia, and they’re known for being tough about the things they will cover.
I’ve switched to Brave.
Good luck with that.
Did you literally not even read your own link?
