Benefits
Health benefits, parental leave, paid time off, holiday overtime, employee discounts, and more.
It’s insane that those things have to be listed in a so-called developed country (except employee discounts, that’s an actual benefit)

2 GB RAM rasp pi 4 :))
I recently was in the same situation, so I saved everything to my cloud and just installed the Linux distro of my choice (opensuse tumbleweed), completely replacing windows, knowing I could reinstall windows later if really needed. Turned out I didn’t need it and am glad I don’t have to bother with deleting it now.
I’m extremely impressed with how far Linux has come
Had me in the first half
Same to all who said both sides are equally bad
Bach is a prime example
I’ve recently switched from Debian to openSUSE Tumbleweed (edit: with KDE) and am extremely impressed, it’s just so polished. German engineering at its finest.

Runs flawlessly on my raspberry pi (4, 2 GB RAM, bought new for 28€)

Prices for all parts soared during corona
AI heavily increased GPU prices

as long as they don’t break
They look fancy
And you can scroll while having your finger at the very edge
Usability wise they certainly are worse but as long as they don’t break they’re awesome
I like curved screens. They look beautiful when scrolling sideways (for example switching home screen tab)
And privacy? I use cash whenever I can
Faith in humanity restored
I meant it’s shrinking without immigration, yes. As more and more countries are developed, less and less countries have population growth, so there’s also no population growth through immigration anymore (when one time the people from the few countries that still have population growth are distributed among so many countries without population growth).
It is solving itself if we keep working on helping countries to become developed.
People outside the USA exist. We have many stupid right wingers too but also many that I can respect (just sadly hardly any of them in politics)
In my country I’m also center-right, but from an US-american view I’m a communist. I cannot believe how one can even consider voting for Trump.
