I know, it’s the age old reform or revolution debate, nothing new. It’s hardly genocide support. Full throated support of Israel’s flattening of Gaza gets you buried in downvotes, even on World

Rubbed the wrong way is understandable, but that’s not supporting genocide. They’re not and I think you know that
Do you see me demanding anything? I’m literally only describing what has been my experience around Lemmy, and that your widespread genocide support is just your twisting of what people are actually saying. I think your hostile comment proves my point
I think you’re confusing electoral lesser-evilism with genuine support. I’m as fed up with ‘Israel can do nothing wrong because history’ types as the next guy, but they’re hardly a majority
“support the American government” is not what I see around Lemmy
True, but also there’s the more general point about “I support the cause but not the method” naysayers being absolutely counterproductive. Climate protesters are finding themselves cut off from every method of protest, violent or not. Because lots of people want to continue business as usual in peace without those pesky tree huggers complaining about, y’know, the fact we’re already well past the Paris 1.5 °C target with no end in sight
Such as what? I’ve always found Keychron to be cheaper
That one is actually useful and I use it every day.
Can we also talk about stupid keyboard manufacturers putting media functions and whatnot on the F keys, but then requiring me to hold Fn to use it as a regular F key? Nobody wants to go Fn+Alt+F4 to close a window. What the hell?
Profitability, not user interest, is the deciding factor. We’ll see how it plays out. I don’t think this one will last
You could implement it like that but I’m not convinced that’s the way this will go. The only way this will have mass adoption, I’m afraid, is if the tech giants can fleece us one way or another.
Great, DRM on my personal photos. Next they’re going to charge a subscription to view my own goddamn vacation pictures
Fuck this timeline. I want to get off Mr. Bones Wild Ride.
Don’t threaten me with a good time!
Exactly. This wasn’t a protest as far as I’m concerned. They shut me out. So I no longer visit reddit or moderate any of my subreddits. It’s that simple
Fuck around and find out. I’m so sorry for everyone who was duped by libertarians pretending they will do anything for regular people and not just the wealthy shareholders, everyone who was held back by economic sanctions in a war against ‘muh socialism’, and all those who saw the obvious coming but were dragged into it by the other rubes. This is going to suck. I hope the protests will work
Such a powerful article! Standing up for what’s right, I would always invest in such a person if I had any say in it.
What the hell, no need to get hostile
But then they’re not, are they? One is a supposedly civilized democracy and the other is brutally oppressed by the first. This “both sides” stuff is trying to ignore that one side hass all the power here to end the conflict and the other is just trying to survive. In such a situation you have to acknowledge that actions of Hamas and Palestinian are not completely free but a result of the situation Israel put them in. You can’t blame Palestinians for resisting their genocide. Of course things get ugly, they know what’s up
Is that genocide support tho? You’re calling them genocide supporters. I am not discussing the merits of third party voting with you
