That makes no sense. Isn’t the reason for keeping trans women out of the ladies room supposed to be that they are men and pose a threat to “real” women? If MTG thinks she can take a trans woman in a fight that kind of goes against her case…

This is the same dipshit that blocked hundreds of military promotions because he didn’t like the Pentagon’s pro-access abortion policy. Even Mitch McConnell pushed back on him then.
According to the article, not that likely:
Terms requiring users to sue in specific courts are usually enforceable, Vanderbilt Law School Professor Brian Fitzpatrick told Ars today. “There might be an argument that there was no consent to the new terms, but if you have to click on something at some point acknowledging you read the new terms, consent will probably be found,” he told us in an email.
A user attempting to sue X in a different state or district probably wouldn’t get very far. “If a suit was filed in the wrong court, it would be dismissed (if filed in state court) or transferred (if filed in federal court),” Fitzpatrick said.
And changed the twitter ToS to require suits in a specific part of texas.
Elon Musk’s X updated its terms of service to steer user lawsuits to US District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the same court where a judge who bought Tesla stock is overseeing an X lawsuit against the nonprofit Media Matters for America.
The new terms that apply to users of the X social network say that all disputes related to the terms “will be brought exclusively in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas or state courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those forums and waive any objection as to inconvenient forum.”
X recently moved its headquarters from San Francisco to Texas, but the new headquarters are not in the Northern District or Tarrant County. X’s headquarters are in Bastrop, the county seat of Bastrop County, which is served by US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
It was attempted sexual assualt. To Trump that probably makes him a loser who can’t get the job done.
But Prime is $99 in Canada vs $140 in the US, so it’s a bigger increase percentage-wise
He’s gotten into wrestling for WWE, and he’s actually pretty good at it. He’s probably getting paid pretty well there.
Hopefully Congress can at least get funding dealt with properly before the election so there’s no opening for sore losers to cause a shutdown.
How much would a shut down mess up inauguration day?
In Safari I just had to switch to Reader mode
The Epic Games Store isn’t profitable so it may not be a good example for how fees should be set.
Also, Epic is trying to argue lower fees would benefit consumers but games generally aren’t cheaper on Epic’s store than on Steam.
I’m in Canada and I haven’t registered on a banking site recently, but I have definitely had stupidly low password length limits on banking sites in the past. The password from my old Bank of Montreal account that was last updated in 2015 is only 6 characters, and it’s only numbers and letters; I would have definitely had 1Password generate a better password if the rules had allowed it.
Banking site: We’ve implemented the Web Integrity API because security is important to us.
Also the banking site: Your password can only be six characters.
The “Sunset” edition of Microsoft Money is still available for free, although not directly from Microsoft anymore. It’s old but it can handle regular accounts and investment accounts; no online functionality, but it supports importing OFX files, and QFX files if you change the file extension.
I got YNAB 4 in a Steam sale before it was delisted and I don’t understand what the subscription version could possibly add to make it worth the cost. Having it connect to your accounts is more convenient than downloading OFX files, but that’s not worth $99/year.
The Amazon Music that’s included with Prime is bad enough that it sounds noticeably worse than my music from the iTunes store even on Bluetooth earbuds. Free Spotify might be the same.
Apple Music has lossless on the base tier, Spotify is supposedly going to put it on an extra-expensive “Supremium” tier.
I remember subscribing to eMusic for some number of song downloads a month and downloading stuff from artists I’d never heard of to use up my downloads at the end of the month. All MP3s, still got them and still listen to them once in a while.
You left out the important bit before that:
When users enable “include related matches in Find on page”, Microsoft Edge submits the following data to Microsoft cloud services using a HTTPS connection:
Seems like nothing gets sent if you do a normal exact search.

They seem to be mostly upset about Apple requiring browsers on iOS to use Webkit instead of implementing their own backend. Which is yet another problem the UK wouldn’t have if they’d stayed in the EU, where that’s already been dealt with under the DMA.
