yeah don’t worry, i’m not either, everyone learns at some point! :)
just me
yeah don’t worry, i’m not either, everyone learns at some point! :)
data is already a plural word friend! “datas” is confusing to read
honestly, this is not a terrible idea
if you see someone at the verge of a panic attack that means they’re fully in their head spiraling - you can try to calm them down the normal way, but you can also try to force them out of their own head and ground them by saying something weird, ideally a question so their mind can latch onto it. It won’t always work, but it might shock them just the right amount to ground them!
same here, even when someone hasn’t changed my mind 100% I’ll often acknowledge if any of their arguments made me want to delve deeper into a topic and think more about my opinion on it
having omnescience about a website implies you learn things that are on it instantly, which means a short rabbit hole of clicking on wiki links has the ability to earn you multiple degrees in a week if you’re smart enough to comperhand the topic (this said please don’t use wikipedia as your sole resource)
and there’s always the random article button if you run out of ideas of what to search
youtube for studying topics en-mass? my friend? have you forgotten that wikipedia is a website?
as a wannabe creator it’s rather terrifying to see that even Jocat, one of the softest and most wholesome creators I’ve had the pleasure of watching - gets bullied out of doing what he loves. Where are those hate mobs coming from? what is their point?
huh, i didn’t know that was a thing
lmao for a minute i thought the public was deeply invested in the remote control vibrator Lush by Lovense
yup, nowadays if you don’t add “@r*ddit” to a tech related search in google you’ll get 10 seemingly copy pasted results that look like “1. download our drivers updater :))) 2. if you don’t want to do that, just give up lol”
same, it’s hard to let go of a futile conversation even when you feel like the other person is arguing in bad faith
yeesh does that hit home, last day or two i’ve been trying very hard to have a conversation with someone and their replies were wild assumptions about me and insults based on said wild assumptions, no actual arguments or anything, just being mad at a version of me they fully made up in their head. At first i felt kinda hurt by their words, i think rather understandably i’m not a fan of being insulted even when the insults make little sense, but then it just became really confusing how confident they were being about things they made up.
i think as long as you don’t try to psycho-analyse a stranger on the internet basing on a single conversation you had you’ll be fine lol. stick to arguing with their points and trying to understand their stances not attacking them personality or extracting a whole made up image of who they could be
there’s already plenty of unbought products in this overpricer capitalistic hellhole we live in
yeah but- you can get a high paying job, successfully hit on that girl, and so much more with the penny, yeah it’s only a 12h effect every two weeks (if you’re lucky) but during those 12hours you are a god
i don’t get many of my digital space muscle memory habits triggered in real life but after working on big projects, be it editing, drawing, or writing, i find myself trying to ctrl-s and “save” things like my scrolling progress on comments under a youtube video, or “save” a conversation on discord
when my browser asks me for a firewall pass and i haven’t directly and intentionally prompted that to happen i click “no”
there are now two different search buttons, very intuitive i know, one is channel specific - the one you see when you’re chatting in a channel (basically a pre-set in:channel for dumb people), and a universal server wide one that’s at the very top of the channel list, you can still od in:channel in there, but by default it searches all channels
at least i hope that’s the case, if it’s not i’ll riot
… sorry to tell you but some people are into that as well
being simply observed gives me a -50% competence to anything i’m trying to do
it’s like a special category of words idk, grammar theory is my weakest point
data can be one point of data, and data can be many points of data
