Yeah wefwef is the best right now for Apollo fans. If they can jerry rig the auto-marking-as-read as you scroll past posts, that will be great.

Memmy is king on iOS as a heavy Apollo user, the others feature slowness and bad text leading (vertical line spaces) and some other weird line breaks and behaviours. If Memmy can get the ‘scroll past posts to mark as read’ it will basically be apollo for me already which is great.

Still, it’s fuckin awesome we have so much choice already. I thought this would be weeks/months where w we’d have a single app, let alone multiple to choose from.

Didn’t initially like the look of lemmy and tried Kbin, but kbin randomly was slow and has no way to hide posts. Lemmy seems snappier and more concise…hoping to find some ability to hide content if you upvote it. I love clearing my feeds up once i’ve seen content once.

edit: I see there’s a hide read option in settings! What constitutes a read post on a desktop PC? Opening comments? simply scrolling past it? Interesting…

edit 2: ohhhh shit, opening comments AND it hides on upvote - fuck yes, well i’m here to stay then.
