Dude’s almost 60 years old. I really don’t understand the hype of watching someone fight a retired athlete.
Not to mention the internet wasn’t as secure as it is now. There was lots of malicious code everywhere. Oh, and if you write a typo in any website’s name there was a 50/50 chance you’ll be redirected to porn.
I thought I read this before, and sure enough it’s a follow up to a 2023 article
TL;DR: 21 year old national guard leaked classified documents on Discord for attention and got caught for it. Nice work.
Why would a game connect to the fediverse…?
Finally, Nausicaa of the valley of the water
This is really cool, thanks for sharing!
“Hmm, that’s weird… It’s coming right for us.”
The article mentions the results are probably because of Intel’s focus on AI, but it’s more likely that this was because of Intel’s focus on making their chips use less power. Laptops with the new generation have a significantly better battery life.
Usually I would agree but in this case it’s important to provide context for people using the platform. According to the post Firefish’s admin practically abandoned it for months now and was radio silent and now hasn’t replied to the core team in over a week, someone had to say what’s going on.
Everyone knows how hard managing these things are, and it’s often a thankless job, but this sadly seems like another example of someone taking on a leadership role then bailing for whatever reason. The owner should’ve let someone else handle firefish.social if they didn’t have the time.
It’s fantastic in most areas but it has a certain style to it. It struggles to make simpler art in my experience and always ends up hyperdetailed.
Let me guess, you use arch?

That has nothing to do with GUI
The graphical user interface.
A million times this. Not only did they popularize the ideas, but MacOS’s UI design was so ahead of its time that it’s barely changed since then. It was by far the most polished operating system at the time. Old Apple actually was innovating while the market was kind of stagnant.
This screenshot was in 2007. The competition was Windows Vista. It’s a night and day difference. I had this version of the iMac at the time and was super impressed, even if I did switch back to Windows a couple of years later. Looking back at it, it still looks quite “modern”.
Android’s compatibility has been a mess for all of time really but I feel like it’s gotten to a new low recently. It’s kind of crazy how many games or apps that are only a few years old won’t work on newer versions of Android anymore.
Awesome news. Bless the regulators fighting back.
As a result of the termination, Adobe will be required to pay Figma a reverse termination fee of $1 billion in cash.
This does bring a smile to my face. Maybe companies will actually stop trying to mass acquire everything when there are risks involved.
Old news, they already have implemented it around 2 weeks ago. I moved to LogSeq, it’s a bit more complicated than Evernote but it’s a really good alternative. Open source too.

Yikes, you’re projecting so hard

LOL no. The democrats are entirely supportive of israel despite the occasional virtue signaling. I don’t understand why people would put Kamala on a pedistal and say maybe she’s different.
This is not how real life works.
She’s not sympathetic to anyone. You don’t become president out of love and good vibes. The options were either vote for nothing to change or vote for trump to make everything worse, yet people post fanfiction on how the US will suddenly be a utopia and we just need to give the dems one last chance
