That’s not true. Cars are normally capped at 250 km/h in Germany. But it’s completely legal to pay extra to get it removed.

I never said it’s a good idea. I was just saying that it’s true that that’s a thing in Germany.
I think it’s good that they lock it but I also think there shouldn’t be a way to unlock it apart from race track use.
