I’ve been going through this every now and then with Firefox and uBlock. It feels like maybe it’s in-between Youtube making their change and uBlock catching up. I’ll go through the purge process but will still be blocked. Check back the next day and videos play fine with ads blocked.

My workaround in that in-between time is either open up a private browser (with ublock turned on for private browsing), watching it not logged in. Or I paste the video to a hidden discord channel I have on my server and watch that way (unless the video disables embedding). It’s always worked for me those two ways.

Linkedin is for lunatics. Just a bunch of goobers giving digital handjobs to each other.

I always uninstall OneDrive after a windows reinstall and I’ve had zero problems with seeing it after. If you don’t use it, remove it?

As much as I hate Edge and Chrome, ,my 5.1 surround sound doesn’t work in Firefox. So if I want to watch something in surround on Youtube I have to switch to Edge. Then the nagging starts.

Do they come with HDMI cables? Haven’t bought one in a while but back in the day my Nintendo consoles didn’t come with RF adapters. I remember Christmas 97 and not having one for my N64 and it drove me insane.

If you’re savvy enough to buy a Fairphone you likely have a gajillion USB-C cables and adapters laying around. I appreciate them not generating more waste.

Once they get a taste of that market share it’s hard for them to give it up. So they’ll start doing this shit to keep people in their ecosystem. They make nothing on their printers and hope to make it up with ink/toner sales. So they want you on their brand.

Fuck printers, fuck print drivers, fuck toner and definitely fuck fax machines. Watching a nurse print something to fax it somewhere else, then for that person to scan it back in. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. All they do is generate waste.

They are expensive. You’ll want to set your driver to default all jobs to black & white and change it when you want to print in color. Otherwise a kid could go through them quick. I’d recommend just having it done at a print shop or office type store. I’d rather pay the few cents for b&w or few dollars for color than ever deal with a printer again.
