Sorry, while the technological concept is interesting for games that don’t have a restrictive license, between a lack of forethought regarding the name and the outright condonment of piracy, I’m gonna have to stay away. If these issues are readdressed in the future, it my be worth re-examining

Privacy and security companies cannot rely on advertising or telemetry to be profitable; doing so is counter and paradoxical to their standing as a security/privacy company.
Bitwarden seems to be doing just fine. 1Password should be taking cues from them, not advertising revenue

unfazedbeaver@lemmy.oneto Privacy Guides@lemmy.one•Windows 10 Pro vs Home, does it matter in Privacy?English1·2 years agoJust wanna take a moment to let people know about a very, very good and reputable tool for privacy and windows. Honestly, it should be on the privacy guides website imho.
Linux is better, but if you have to use Windows, there is the Chris Titus Tech tool available. You can set power-user privacy options easily, massively debloat your windows installation, install programs, and easily set your update settings to security only, if that is what you want.
It’s also freaky easy to use, and comes from one of the foremost minds in the tech world today.
