What I don’t understand is why the article says it allows for smaller file sizes, when I’ve found without fail that remuxes are the largest variety by far. It made sense to me that a file produced without compression would be larger than the same file, compressed.

Be sure to avoid “remux” quality. I didn’t know what this meant at first - it’s a file with no compression an uncompressed 1:1 copy of the source, so even “low-resolution” video files can be truly massive. A 1080p movie should be between 2GB-10GB or so; I’ve found that remuxes are typically 15GB-50GB, or even larger.

Yes, accepting a pardon means admitting you’re guilty of the crime you’re being pardoned for, by definition. You cannot be pardoned for a crime if you didn’t commit one; a pardon is literally presidential forgiveness for commiting a crime, and absolution from further legal consequences of that crime.

I rather think that Jesus himself would be the gatekeeper here. He’s not a Christian because he follows, values, and embodies precisely none of the values Jesus laid out for his followers, nor any tenets of the actual religion. I know that, and I’m an atheist.

Civil, and military. The President is also the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, y’know.
The fact of his eligibility for the Office of President is a Federal matter. Whether he goes on the ballots is a State matter. I have to admit, in all my readings of the text of the Constitution and the context around the drafting of the Amendments, never once have I seen anything banning a State from putting someone who can’t be President on their ballot.
Maybe the Framers thought there was no way a State government would be so stupid as to put an ineligible candidate on their ballots, but that if they wanted to waste their votes on that then they should be so allowed, God bless 'em.

No, it’s the Constitution, plain and simple. He violated his oath of office, so he is ineligible to hold that office or any other again. The only way for him to become eligible is for Congress to vote that he is, with a two thirds majority.
