I agree on Syncthing’s UI, and it did take me some time to understand it and get it working right. But I could only get LocalSend to accept files on my Pixel from my PC when I had the app open. Even with quick save turned on, it wouldn’t accept the file without having the app open. But maybe that’s the point of LocalSend? More deliberate file sharing?
Any reason to use LocalSend over Syncthing?
Fucking criminal.
My issue with Droid-ify is that at least half the time updates or initial installations hang indefinitely, and even the Cancel button doesn’t do anything. I’ve gone back to F-Droid as this has never happened to me on that app.
So I’m itching to download the latest Android 14 Beta since it’s very close to stable.
If after my phone also eventually updates to the final public version of Android 14, can I somehow opt out of future beta updates without having to wipe my phone?
It’s on TestFlight if you wanna go that route.
I’ve been glancing at Zorin OS again and Zorin Connect caught my eye but I haven’t played with it yet. If you’re familiar with it, is that just as comprehensive as KDE Connect?

This is incredible! Bought the premium version immediately. Thanks!
How is Proton weird?
Thanks for sharing!
I’m new to the scene. If a raid isn’t a backup, then what is?
