I am interested to learn more about how a platform like Replit or Railway is created, where you have the option to allow users to be on an isolated instance online. How exactly is it done? It can’t be a VM or a containerized OS, that will cause performance degradation, right? How exactly does the Nix package managers work in that particular instance? FFI? Adapters?
