I eat chaddis for breakfast. Fluent in Yappanese. Phul sapot to indie artists.

Hello, I’ve updated the map. Antarctica is now visible, but you’ll be disappointed.
India, Greenland, Greece and Turkey are the four countries with the fastest growth of Linux users. I’ve checked their neighbouring countries, and it looks like they are still in the 1-2% range.
How about the other way around? I want to switch to Guix, but I want to keep using Nixpkgs for the time being?
Why does it surprise me that the owners of woke instances don’t understand this shit.
Wow, just wow. I’m pretty sure you must know this, but since you seem to have some sort of selective amnesia, let me break it down for your stupid ass. Lemmy follows the semantic versioning, meaning that 0.19.1
can be seen as:
0
: the major version19
: the minor version1
: the patch versionWhy are you fuckers so keen on updating to 0.19 so quickly anyway?
Lemmy is still in the major version 0
, and not 1
. Meaning that it is still in alpha, and hasn’t reached the stable version 1.x.y
. Go and read the SemVar FAQ first.
Every user on this platform is an early adopter, and consists of developers and geeks. Also, the Lemmy devs run lemmy.ml.
My instance hasn’t and they probably won’t for a long time.
And? What are we supposed to do with this information?
Your comment adds no value to a productive discussion. Shush away.
I have a extremely minimal Guix setup using just GNOME and Kakoune, but I dont’ use it at all. Guess I’ll use yours as a design pattern for my future configs lol.
But a question - why aren’t you using Guile-macs?
For someone who hates these “Linux boomers”, you’re using Wordpress, which uses the good old PHP.
Shouldn’t you be working on your own minimal Gopher website or something like Rust-SWC, with all that fancy hydration and hybrid SSR-SSG framework?
People can have opinions. You, on the other hand, need to mind your business.
And yes, I’ll take your advice and move over to Guix. Shepherd and Guille looks pretty fine to me.
They are probably banned from your instance.
Lately, I’ve started to hate scripted languages. That’s all I’ve got to say. You know, overhead and stuff? And well, much of it is just projection about how I can’t land even internships, because I decided to flunk on Golang and Rust. Ruby and Python ruined my early-career.
It uses the Python binding for GTK. Yeah, that’s a big no for me.
Adam Sandler movies in a nutshell.
Printing a gradient triangle using C, in OpenGL, takes about a few 100-130 lines - it could be lesser, I think. In Vulkan, it takes about a thousand lines.
Source: I wrote a “simple” gradient triangle in Vulkan, using C during my free time. Created the gradient triangle in C as a part of my university coursework.
Oh no, dearie, you lost your fake internet points? I feel so sad for you…not.
Also a noob, but from what I understand, Vulkan is more low-level.
Bro, what?
I drink sachet coffee worth one rupee, with thin, water-added milk.
How the fuck are you all communist with these fancy, expensive machines, high-grade beans and thick cream?
Edit: yes, I drink the powder too. Too poor to afford filter paper.
I was planning to learn C23 for quite some time. It’s a pity that I’ve been planning to learn RISC-V with it, sigh. I guess I’m gonna move over to Rust or Zig, whichever makes sense. But I’d probably switch, when Vale becomes a legit language.
Shouldn’t it be like more instance = less load?
Nah, too old school. I’d recommend Fissioneral. Want to shred your entire existence and generate energy for three generations of your descendants? It uses the same technology as the sun! Give us a call!
Just torrent it lol. Or try playing Veloren.
