    As opposed to the tankies here? Extremism on lemmy is easily a step above Reddit. I’ve seen plenty of open calls to violence just lol’ed at here.

      I’ve genuinely seen more alt-right/fascist comments than commie defenders. But both of those types of comments are always downvoted heavily when I see them, so clearly the tankies aren’t as popular or numerous as everyone seems to think…?

      Or maybe my admin is just good at filtering the shit instances (thank you, king)

        What the fuck. Are you blind? Go to All page, there is fucking tons of leftist propaganda (and surprisingly 0 rightist propaganda, very equal!) that adores big concrete apartment blocks, jokes about commie famines like they didn’t happen, despites landlords (seen as some capitalist final boss), “trickle down economy” and etc. Everything is usually in the form of memes. Bolder instances like hexbear or lemmyml go straight to the point explaining their idiotic point of view.

        Maybe it is your instance. My instance is so fucked up that they don’t filter anything. Mods take the “filter it out yourself fool” approach. Thanks mods. I have to look at this shit every time I open up lemmy. I’m actually thinking about emigrating to reddit once again. It’s fucking insufferable experience.

            Well, don’t worry. I’ll be changing instances soon anyway. Lemmee is fucked up after updating to 0.19 and admins apparently went on permanent vacations.
