With the measure’s supporters getting close to meeting the petition signature requirement, the Florida Supreme Court on Wednesday said it will hear arguments next month about a proposed constitutional amendment ensuring abortion rights in the state.

The issue at hand on Feb. 7 will be whether the Supreme Court should approve the wording of the proposed constitutional amendment and allow it to go on the November ballot.

It doesn’t matter how perfectly worded it is, the #GOP #fascists on Florida Supreme Court won’t allow it on the ballot.

They know if we get a Constitutional vote on abortion, their entire christofascist agenda is fucked.

I dunno, they amended to allow ex-prisoners to regain the right to vote after they finish their prison sentences, and the asshats managed to cock that all up. They might be able to do the same here, somehow.
