The Wi-Fi standard 802.11ah (a.k.a. Wi-Fi HaLow) has not played much of a role in Europe thus far, even though the 802.11ah standard uses a frequency that makes it quite suitable for long-range networking. However, the available bandwidth differs significantly across regions.
