It upsets me too but I don’t think being angry about it will change anything. I’d rather take a moment to learn a lesson from her because I’m not sure I’d be so publicly level headed about it.

She’s on a big stage and this is a big moment for a community of marginalized people. She needs to be strong, not just for herself, but the people who find a reflection of themselves in her. Her ability to stay calm in this silly storm is admirable.

I don’t know much about her, but she’s clearly handling this situation with an incredible amount of class. I respect the heck out of her for that.

Why would there be ANY exceptions? I wouldn’t have a problem with it as long as everyone had to follow the same rule. Putting exceptions just seems silly.

I live in NYC and my son attends public school. The availability of food to all children just feels right. I know that means my taxes are higher than they would be otherwise, but nutrition is so damn important to a child’s development.

Last two times I’ve ordered from them, I’ve wound up with extra stuff. I ordered a set of 8 patio cushions and received 12. Ordered a patio set and coffee table and received a whole extra coffee table.

Quality, as you said, isn’t great. IKEA can be a pain to get to (for me), but you know their stuff is designed well.
