It’s called election interference. Merry Christmas

Donald Trump, like Charlie Brown before him, simply cannot get into the Christmas spirit.

On Monday — Christmas Day — Mr Trump expressed he was having a difficult time enjoying the holiday. The reason? Joe Biden.

“It’s hard to have a truly great Christmas when you have a Crooked and Incompetent President who wants to put his Political Opponent in jail, and who has been working hard (for a change!), illegally using all of the levers of Law Enforcement, to do so,” he wrote on Truth Social. “We are in the fight of our lives to save our Country from MADNESS & DOOM. MAGA 2024!!!”

Mr Trump’s sour sentiment was not posted in isolation. The former president spent most of Christmas Eve posting through his frustration at the various criminal cases he’s facing, the 6 January committee, and a recent Colorado decision to kick him off the state’s ballot.

In one post he insists that “almost everybody agrees” including the “crazed Radical Left Lunatics” that not only should Colorado’s decision to kick him off their ballot be reversed, but that he is also “fully entitled to PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY.”

This is the man that millions of people idolize. People point to that guy and go He’s just the man for the job.

I’m always impressed at the people who think that:

The president can do whatever the fuck he wants

Joe Biden, the president, cannot prosecute Donald Trump

It’s a wild pair of thoughts to hold.

        Gone on for decades -

Democratic presidents are crazed lunatics running totally unchecked free of oversight by any and everybody,

Republican presidents are poor abused babies who just want to do their job but congress exists specifically for the sole reason of shaking a finger at him for 4-8 years.

    As opposed to…

The Christmas story is at the heart of the Christian faith, but the values of hope, love, peace, and joy are universal.

They speak to all of us as human beings who are here on this Earth to care for one another, to look out for one another, to love one another.

These values are always important, and we see them in action in communities throughout our country.

All across America, we see stories of revival and renewal, hope and optimism. And pride. Pride in your work, in your family, in your town. Pride in this nation.

My hope this Christmas season is that we take a few moments of quiet reflection. To really look at each other, not as Democrats or Republicans, but as who we really are: Fellow Americans. Fellow human beings worthy of being treated with dignity and respect.

We’re truly blessed to live in this nation. And I truly hope we take the time to look out for one another…

Jill and I wish you and your family peace, joy, health, and happiness this season.

From the Biden family to yours, Merry Christmas and happy holidays!

Joe Biden President of the United States

Looks like we’re on the Projection part of GOP.

Didn’t trump literally say he wants to be a day 1 dictator. Which involved jailing political opponents?

His supposed comments use fairly sophisticated grammar, much beyond what he’s demonstrated before. Also, the tweets are well time towards people who might be feeling resentful and alone right now. People who might be spending extra time online the last two nights because they don’t have anything else to do.

Why isn’t the story about that?

Whenever that guy lashes out, I assume it’s because his diaper is full. 3-5 times a day sounds about right.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

The former president spent most of Christmas Eve posting through his frustration at the various criminal cases he’s facing, the 6 January committee, and a recent Colorado decision to kick him off the state’s ballot.

In one post he insists that “almost everybody agrees” including the “crazed Radical Left Lunatics” that not only should Colorado’s decision to kick him off their ballot be reversed, but that he is also “fully entitled to PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY.”

He also tried to use his presidential immunity to save him from a civil defamation case involving E Jean Carroll, an author who claims the former president raped her in the 1990’s.

A lot of Mr Trump’s favorites show up in that post: “Deranged Prosecutor Jack Smith,” the “Unselect January 6th Committee,” “Crazy Nancy Pelosi,” and the frankly uninspired “Crooked Joe” Biden all earn a mention in the rant.

"THEY SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN, LIED TO CONGRESS, CHEATED ON FISA, RIGGED A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, ALLOWED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE, MANY FROM PRISONS & MENTAL INSTITUTIONS, TO INVADE OUR COUNTRY, SCREWED UP IN AFGHANISTAN, & JOE BIDEN’S MISFITS & THUGS, LIKE DERANGED JACK SMITH, ARE COMING AFTER ME, AT LEVELS OF PERSECUTION NEVER SEEN BEFORE IN OUR COUNTRY???

"WHY DID THE UNSELECT JANUARY 6th COMMITTEE OF POLITICAL HACKS & THUGS ILLEGALLY DELETE & DESTROY ALL OF THE EVIDENCE THEY USED TO WRITE THEIR FAKE REPORT.

The original article contains 623 words, the summary contains 227 words. Saved 64%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

Yeah, no, that was WWI. And calling it a good Christmas is a stretch. It was a moment of shared humanity between people being forced to murder themselves by disconnected ruling classes.
